Bocelli meets Boticelli in our South Florida Concert Debut

On March 27, 2012 we were honoured to perform a concert at the Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale, surrounded by the prestigious American debut of the “Offering of the Angels”, on loan from the Uffizi Museum in Florence Italy.  It was a once in a lifetime experience to sing with Boticelli’s “Madonna Della Loggia” as our backdrop.

We had the pleasure of being accompanied by the talented Michael Battle who’s album “Chopin After Midnight” topped the classical music charts in the U.S.  We were also very pleased to have the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre sing an original song that was an ode to patrons of the arts and stirred the hearts of of everyone in the audience. Partial proceeds from this concert went to the Children’s Theatre.

Diana’s gown by Zola Keller and her jewelry on loan from Dauod’s Fine Jewelry. (guestimated to be worth twenty thousand dollars) The evening was a success for all involved and a special thank you goes out to the three people who made the show possible: Tracy Roloff, Director of Development for the Fort Lauderdale Children’s Theatre, William Riddle, President of the Venetian Arts Society, and Gail Vilone, Special events manager of the Museum of Art/Fort Lauderdale.  We look forward to many more shows in beautiful South Florida, and a big thank you to everyone who came out to show their support and appreciation of the arts.
